Special Needs Soccer, a national effort to develop a free soccer program for challenged children, is currently putting the finishing touches on their new curriculum before being released nationwide this winter. The concept behind the effort is to develop a comprehensive Special Needs Soccer Program for communities across the United States to use as a blueprint in order to launch their own initiatives. The Special Needs Soccer Package will have everything a community organization would need to provide a complete program for the challenged youth of their locale.
The Special Needs Soccer curriculum was developed by Port Washington resident Dan Brotman with a select number of physical and occupational therapists, and certified soccer trainers.
